Go Hotels was my home in Dumaguete for three nights. This is the Philippine version of Red Planet (formerly Tune Hotels) if you are familiar with that brand. This means 5-star beds and power showers. With cable tv and go air conditioning this is already luxury by Dumaguete standard. Best of all, you can get a room for $50 or less. Got mine on promo at around 998 pesos. Such a good deal.
It is a little off downtown which is the area around Silliman University but with Robinsons Mall next to it, the area is an upcoming center for dining and shopping. It served as my perfect set-off point during my tours around Dumaguete, Siquijor, and Apo Reef. I can highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to visit Dumaguete.

I arrived at about mid-day in Dumaguete for the first time and didn't know where to stay. But near the Ceres Bus terminal, I saw a sign saying there was a Go Hotel nearby so I went there. This place is great! It's just beside the Robinson Mall which makes shopping and dining very easy. The rooms are really far above in quality than most other hotels in this price range. The air-con is new and so you don't need to worry about respiratory problems from breathing air from an air-con filter that's not been changed in years. The mattress is of the best quality and the rooms have three very large mirrors. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Staff is attentive and respectful. Next time I'm in Dumaguete I will stay there again.

A positive experience here with Go Hotels Dumaguete.
We arrived late ready to check in after a tiring journey from Bohol only to find out that we made an error in booking the hotel via booking.com. We booked in March instead of February, which made us panic a bit.
However, the staff were very accommodating and arranged a room for us which was a huge help especially we arrived at 9 pm! The first experience staying at this hotel, and I am happy to say that the room and bathroom were very clean! They were also very knowledgeable and were able to recommend good places to visit like Balanan Lake and Hayahay/Lab-As restaurants. If transport was needed they were helpful in fetching transport for us.
We were so happy with the service and the rooms (as well as impressed with Dumaguete in general) we decided to stay an extra night which the staff promptly and efficiently arranged for us.
